The legacy and impact of the historic 1968 San Francisco State University Student Strike led by the Third World Liberation Front.

In 2009, we collaboratively organized to institutionalize Ethnic Studies in SFUSD, starting with 5 pilot sites. By 2014 we expanded this victory to all 19 high schools.

In 2019 we joined the Save Arab American Studies Coalition, led by the Arab Resource and Organizing Center (AROC), to oversee the statewide implementation of Ethnic Studies in California.

We’re strengthening collaborations that merge strategies across movements for racial, educational, economic, and juvenile justice. We’re co-leading the Reimagine Youth Justice Coalition SF to grow the grassroots advocacy to shut down juvenile hall in 2021-22.
